With the Rams moving to Los Angeles for for the 2016-17 NFL season, EA Sports has every intention of having the team play in its new location in this year's Madden.
Of course, there's still some finer points to work out, including stadium details and licensing. Well, at least one of the boxes can be check as completed, as the NFL unveiled the Los Angeles Rams new logo.

This will presumably be the logo seen in Madden NFL 17 and beyond.
The logo, however, is only a small part of the details EA and the NFL must work out before kickoff next year. There's still the whole stadium situation. We don't know exactly where the Rams will play next year, though it's believed their home games will be scheduled at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which is operated by USC. Ultimately, the plan calls for a stadium site located at the old Hollywood Park racetrack in Inglewood, California — about 10 miles from downtown L.A.
There's also talk of the San Diego Chargers or Oakland Raiders joining the Rams in Los Angeles, though the Chargers have until March 23, 2016 to decide if they want to move for the upcoming season. If not, they have until January 16, 2017 to work out a decision. If still no decision is reached, the Raiders will then have the option to join the Rams in L.A.
