In September, the fighting game crossover we've all been waiting for comes to life. The notoriously jubbly first lady of fighting game fan service, Mai Shiranui, is bringing her jibbliness to the realm of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. This means Dead or Alive 5: Last Round wins our brand new award for most appropriate fighting game cross-over in history, demolishing Akuma's appearance in Tekken 7. It also means that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will feature the best looking iteration of the Mai Shiranui character, given how ugly King of Fighters 14 looks.
If you don't believe us, just compare for yourself:
On a serious note though, it's pretty refreshing to see a company stick to their fan service in this day and age. We all know why Mai Shiranui was picked: She has the most famous assets in the fighting game genre. This opens the door for more cross-overs down the road too. If you're a fan of preposterously proportioned, bouncing beauties and want to see your favorite fighting game vixens get the DOA treatment, there's a real possibility that your wish could be granted.
Okay you deviants, sound off in the comments section below and let us know the female fighters you'd like to see added to the DOA5:LR roster.
