Last week we heard about Bloodborne's upcoming patch that would add a slew of new features alongside the 'The Old Hunters' expansion. This expansion will be the only formal set of paid DLC for Bloodborne, according to Sony Japan producer Masaaki Yamagiwa — but FromSoftware is planning on giving the players a treat to make up for this.
On November 20th, four days prior to the expansion's release, Bloodborne will receive a patch that will add The League, additional co-op NPC hunters, and more.
In case you're unfamiliar with The League, they are a band of Hunters who "have taken an oath and are bound by a single purpose." Joining The League will have you assisting other players and compete in The League's online rankings leaderboard.
Members of The League will be able to use 'The League cane' and summon co-op NPCs within the game.
The release date was revealed during a livestream on Nico Nico by Sony Computer Entertainment.
