When Mario Kart 8 released its first DLC pack last year, it astounded fans with just how much content it packed in, from awesome guest characters like Link, to a Legend of Zelda track. In just a few short days, fans will be able to unlock the second DLC pack, which once again includes new characters, new tracks and new karts.
The new characters include Isabel and Villager from Nintendo's life sim game, Animal Crossing, as well as the boney version of our favorite Mario villain, Dry Bowser.
The four new vehicles include the beetle looking Streetle, the Animal Crossing themed City Tripper, the Speed Racer looking P-Wing, and lastly the Bone Rattler, themed after Dry Bowser himself.
The biggest and arguably best addition to these packs are the new stages. The game will add two more Cups to the game, complete with four stages each. Fans will be able to race through stages like Koopa City from Mario Kart 7, a reimagining of Big Blue from F-Zero, Cheese Land from Mario Kart Super Circuit, and Baby Park from Mario Kart Double Dash.
And if you think that 150cc is too easy for you, on April 23rd, fans will be able to download the 200cc difficulty absolutely free, which will not only increase the speed of all vehicles, but make the difficulty that much harder.
You can buy the DLC combo pack for $11.99, which will give you access to the previously launched DLC pack, as well as the new one coming on April 23rd. If you just want the single pack, it will run you $7.99.
