Mario, the Italian Stallion. Last night we wrote about the revealed alternate costume for Mario and it just reeks of American patriotism, which I find kind of odd considering he's about as Italian as it gets. I guess it worked for Rocky, right?
Though the outfit is clearly inspired by the costume in NES Open Tournament Golf, it reminds me more of what the Italian Stallion wore when he fought the Russian in Rocky IV.
I can see it now, Samus one-on-one against Mario. "I must break you."
