Mario Kart Fan Takes to the Streets

A French humorist by the name of Remi Gaillard has taken Mario Kart fandom to another level. Dressing up as Nintendo’s mascot plumber, the prankster stepped into a go-kart and drove around the city, cutting off other cars and tossing banana peels and turtle shells (plush turtles) at the other drivers.

The video has garnerd a bit of popularity, and rightfully so. After all, the antics are completely nonsensical (and illegal). Toward the end, Gaillard has no choice but to race away from the authorities. This isn’t the first time the French humorist has taken Mario Kart to the extreme. But after the heat he’s going to be in with the cops, will it be the last?
