Mark Strong lends his voice to Total War: Rome 2, so lend him your ears

Mark Strong, most notable for his roles in Sherlock Holmes and Green Lantern, will now lend his "gravelly and authority-laden tones" to SEGA's Total War: Rome 2.

A new video released today shows off just how much work went into the sound effects and audio of Rome 2, while also displaying Strong's voice work as the power-huntry General Silanus. The video also trouches on the game's soundtrack; performed by the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Dark Knight and I am Legend veteran, Jeff Atmajian. It's a pretty lengthy video, but for those of you who enjoy the process of game making, or have an appreciation for audio effects, I sugges sticking around.

Total War: Rome 2 will be available on September 3.
