For the first time in a while, BioWare has some good news for Mass Effect 3 players on the PlayStation 3.
After working with Sony, BioWare is now giving away reward packs that PS3 users missed out on from the previous multiplayer weekends. Due to "hardware and software incompatibilities", the first few weeks of Mass Effect 3's N7 Multiplayer Challenge weekends were unavailable to those on the PS3.
As of April 27, the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenges became available on PS3, but to make it up to the PlayStation community, for what they missed out on, BioWare will be offering the multiplayer Commendation Packs for Operation Goliath and Operation Raptor, held previously this year.
PS3 players can login and check the in-game store for their Goliath and Raptor packs, free of charge.
Moving forward, Mass Effect 3 players on all platforms can participate in these weekend multiplayer events. This weekend's event is 'Operation Silencer' and taks players with killing 3,000,000 banshees and surviving until a full extraction on any map against any enemy on gold difficulty.
