Men in Black trilogy revival in talks with Sony

After the success of Men in Black 3, we heard about Men in Black 4 being a possibility and some sort of crossover between the Jump Street universe and Men in Black universe — but wait — there's more! According to producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald the entire trilogy is looking at a revival.

Speaking The Hollywood Reporter, the couple revealed that they were talking to Sony about a potential reboot, "We're in the middle of it," said Parkes."It's very active."

Having 'active' talks is great and all, but the real crazy part about this is that Will Smith won't be in it. When asked whether or not Smith would make an appearance Parkers replied, "Most likely no." MacDonald quickly jumped in at that point to mention that the Men in Black discussions they were having would be a complete overhaul of the franchise, as the series "will be reinvented as a trilogy."

Since they are still in talks with Sony there's still a chance Smith could make a cameo in film or even Tommy Lee Jones!
