Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain comes to LittleBigPlanet 3

Hideo Kojima’s swan song, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, today fell into consumer hands, to widespread critical acclaim. To celebrate Snake’s return, LittleBigPlanet 3 has done up its four protagonists in Phantom Pain-themed costumes as part of its latest update.

The Phantom Pain Costume Pack includes unique looks for Sackboy, Oddsock, Toggle and Swoop. Each can be purchased individually if you don’t want to shell out for the entire pack. Swoop’s rendition of Quiet, MGSV’s iconic sniper, is particularly tempting, though Oddsock’s profoundly canine and eye patch-equipped new digs are tough to pass up as well.

The costume pack comes on the heels of the introduction of Dive-In to LBP3. Designed to expedite community play, Dive-In lets players immediately join other parties with a single press of a button rather than comparably tedious menu navigation.
