Konami dropped one of the biggest announcements for PC players that they could make yesterday, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be releasing alongside the console version on September 1, 2015.
On top of that, PC players that pre-order through Steam will receive a copy of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes for free and a collector’s video that shows off behind the scenes footage and a unique documentary. That's not all though, there's also some DLC coming with the pre-order, a ‘Venom Snake’ emblem and Mother Base Staff.
The only thing PC players aren't getting at launch is the online multiplayer component Metal Gear Online. This will be delayed on PC until January 2016 and will be available for console versions in August.
