Michael Madsen, the voice of Daud, will return in Dishonored’s DLC

Bethesda confirmed today that Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill) will return as the voice of Daud in both of Dishonored's upcoming add-ons. Given that Dishonored's next piece of downloadable content, The Knife of Dunwall, is all about Daud, this is some welcomed news.

Announced last week, The Knife of Dunwall lets you play as Daud, the legendary assassin whose actions jump start the game's plot. The story-driven DLC takes you "back to that fateful moment" *spoiler* when Daud assassinates the Empress. As it was explained, you'll be in full control of Daud, making your own decisions on how to approach each mission. Ultimately, as Daud, you'll be determining your redemption or turn towards darkness.

Furthermore, Bethesda has already confirmed Madsen will also return for the next add-on, The Brigmore Witches, which concludes Daud's story. The Knife of Dunwall will be available on April 16, while The Brigmore Witches does not yet have a release date.

We haven't yet seen much of the new add-on, but we're very eager to take control of the new assassin. As I previously mentioned, the idea of letting you replay the same portion of the game, but from a different perspective is a very clever use of DLC — one that I wish more developers and publishers would adopt. Are you excited for the new downloadable content?
