Microsoft-exclusive white Xbox One auction raises $11,300 for charity

The auction for the the Microsoft employee-exclusive White Xbox One came to a close yesterday. The final bid was $11,300, all of which will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project charity.

In addition to getting the white console, the anonymous winner will also receive one year of Xbox LIVE, and a copy of each of Microsoft's first party launch titles including Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct and Crimson Dragon.

Microsoft has already said this rare white Xbox One won't be on sale anywhere else, but I'm still hoping that Microsoft releases a standard white-colored console without the "I made this" phrase.
