Microsoft Store also offering $10 Xbox 360 to Xbox One game upgrade

The Microsoft Store will also offer discounted prices when upgrading your Xbox 360 games to their Xbox One counterpart. Like Best Buy and Amazon, trading in your Xbox 360 copy will allow you to get the same title for Xbox One for just $9.99.

The list of eligible games includes Madden NFL 25, Battlefield 4, Need for Speed: Rivals, Call of Duty: Ghosts, NBA 2K14, FIFA 14, and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

To take advantage of the promotion you'll need to bring your games in to the Microsoft Store. The offer is valid until December 31, 2013. Yesterday, Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will release on November 22, 2013, so you will have a few weeks of playing those games on current-gen systems before the upgrade.
