Microsoft welcomes a new generation of Xbox and football

Yesterday was definitely one of the more exciting weekends of this young NFL season, and, perhaps capitalizing on the thriller between the Cowboys and Broncos last night, Microsoft has posted a new image highlighting the Xbox One's partnership with the NFL.

In a clever ad, Microsoft welcomes you to a new generation, of both gaming and football, by showing the roots of both the Xbox and NFL. From leather caps to pristine helmets and from bulky controllers to sleek designs, both forms of entertainment have undergone tremendous changes over the years.

For those a bit unfamiliar with the partnership between the NFL and Microsoft, the Xbox One will feature an NFL app that not only allows you to watch highlights from your favorite games, but check fantasy score updates, Skype with friends while watching the game, and instantly switch between video games and sports.
