Milky Tea Studios announces HyperBrawl Tournament, coming to Steam Early Access this summer

Sports games have gradually been getting alternative contexts to try and appeal to a wider range of gamers. The fact of the matter is that not everyone cares about the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, or any other acronymized professional sports league. But that doesn't mean that the rules of these respective sports don't translate well into video games because that is certainly not the case. HyperBrawl Tournament looks to capitalize on this growing trend with an alternative take on Handball.

HyperBrawl Tournament brings together great warriors to compete in a once-in-a-century tournament where teams face off in a PvP Combat-style arena where the goal is to pummel your opponents, grab the ball, and score. The game is inspired by the likes of Rocket League which helped fuel this trend with its fast-paced multiplayer and combat/sports hybrid gameplay.

• Unique Warriors & Weapons: Choose from 10 unique HyperBrawl warriors and 10 unique weapons to destroy your opponents.
• Unique Combat Arenas: Experience 6 combat arenas, each home to one of the warriors and complete with its own special feature.
• Single Player Trials mode: Compete in 8 individual mini-games that enable and encourage the player to improve their core warrior skills and unlock new content including warrior skins, weapons, and characters.
• Multiplayer Tournament Mode: Use the skills you have learned in the trials and compete with friends in 1-4 person multiplayer games of either 1v1 or 2v2 tournaments, both locally or online.

• A fusion of electric-paced, ‘no rules’ handball with ferocious PvP arena combat.
• Unique warrior & weapon combinations enabling skill development and ensuring re-playability.
