Just in case you forgot, Minecraft is super popular. Creator Markus Persson announced that the PC and Mac version has surpassed 14 million copies sold.
More than 18,000 gamers have purchased the sandbox game in the last day.
A little more than a week ago, developer Mojang announced that Minecraft had sold 1 million copies on PlayStation 3, where it launched only in mid-December. The Xbox 360 release broke 10 million sales around the same time. That version has been out in digital form since May 2012 and on disc since June last year, which is about the time that the PC version surpassed 11 million sales. You getting all this down?
Last May, Minecraft's mobile version, the Pocket Edition, hit 10 million downloads. And now the game is headed to PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Xbox One. I think we can expect sales to explode on those systems, too.
The computer version of Minecraft has now sold 14 million copies. Celebrating by having no idea how to play Lego marvel on ps4!
