Minecraft: PS Vita Edition should arrive ‘in a few weeks’

With Minecraft arriving on PlayStation 4 today and Xbox One tomorrow, all that's left is the Vita version. Remember that one? I don't blame you if you don't — we haven't heard much about it since 4J last said they had "a bit more work to do" on it before handing it over to Sony.

That was back in August — on the 26th to be exact. So the big question is, when can we expect it?

According to Mojang, Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition should be released "in a few weeks." Unfortunately, that's the only window we were given, although they did promise to let us know when they have a more accurate date. "Sorry for the delay," they added.

On the bright side, if you plan on buying PlayStation 4 Edition today you can make use of the PS4's Remote Play functionality and play on your Vita that way. Glass half-full, right?
