Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 releases new trailer just ahead of release

Following its official confirmation about a month ago, Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 is almost here, and as usual, a trailer for it has released just ahead of its launch. Continuing the story of Jesse, Season 2 is split across five episodes, much like pretty much every other Telltale game.

Here's the trailer:

As you might expect, your decisions from Season 1 will carry over into Season 2 in some capacity, but it's not a requirement if you're new to the series. Telltale will also be debuting a new feature called "Crowd Play," through Minecraft: Story Mode: Season 2, which lets any of your friends who are not playing the game to "direct the action from any online mobile device."

Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Episode 1: Hero in Residence launches next week on July 11th for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Mac, iOS, and Android.
