Minecraft to receive two Lego play sets

Is it ironic or simply terribly funny that Minecraft, a both openly and crudely voxel-based game, will soon be memorialized in LEGO blocks?

Dubbed “The Cave” and “The Farm,” the two sets are scheduled to release later this year, thebrickfan reports. Both sets include the game’s iconic avatar Steve decked out in LEGO goodness, amidst appropriately arranged environments.

What’s concerning here is the distinct lack of a creeper figurine, in that one either won’t be included or is hiding cleverly just waiting to ruin some poor 10-year-old’s build.
