Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Halloween Skin pack raises over $700K for charity

The Halloween Skin pack which was released back in October for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has raised $770,448 for charity, Mojang confirmed today. That's quite a feat considering each pack sold for just $2.

Better yet, all $770,448 went directly to charity. Neither Mojang, Microsoft, or 4J took a cut. All proceeds were split between Child's Play, Macmillan Cancer Support, Sands Lothians, and Block by Block.

Today, another skin pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition becomes available. The Festive Skin Pack costs just 80 Microsoft Points and adds 24 Holiday skins including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, Scrooge, and much more.
