IO Interactive is working on a sequel to Mini Ninjas called Mini Ninjas: Hiro's Adventure.
A trademark, domain name, and now a rating from Australia’s Classifications Board all suggest the game is in-the-works. Square Enix is shown as publisher, but the company has not formally announced their involvement.
Developer IO Interactive, also responsible for the Hitman games, created the series' debut in 2009.
A Chrome browser version of the original is available for play.
