Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst gameplay teased, more to come this week

One thing is clear, EA is heading to Gamescom 2015 this week to make a splash with some of its biggest IP's.  After teasing a new mode for Star Wars: Battlefront earlier today, they have unveiled a gameplay teaser for Mirror's Edge: Catalyst.

The video clocks in at only 23 seconds in length, but it does show in game footage running at a crisp 60 FPS.  We are able to catch a glimpse of the free running mechanics that made the original game so popular, but it cuts off right when it seems like the real action was going to begin.

EA has also announced that they will be showing off gameplay at Gamescom, which will likely happen at their Press Conference on August 5th.

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst will release for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on February 26, 2016 and will be completely eliminating the iffy shooting mechanics that plagued the first game.
