Bethesda has officially detailed the Fallout-themed Monopoly game originally teased earlier this month.
Officially branded "Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition," the game will feature iconic property locations from all four Fallout games, with the ability to fortify them with Vault-Tec approved Shack (houses) and Vaults (Hotels). The Wasteland-inspired, distressed finish tokens come in the form of a Pistol, MiniNuke, Nuka-Cola Bottle, Power Armor Helmet, Vault Boy, and Vault 111. And, of course, the the game will include custom Fallout money imprinted with Nuka-Cola bottle caps.
Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition is available for pre-order for $40. It's expected to ship October 30th — just a few weeks ahead of Fallout 4's release.
Let's make one thing clear here, Monopoly is not a good game. It's entirely too long, ridiculously repetitive, and incredibly boring. Fallout Monopoly, though? It's still all of that, but I can't imagine there's much more exciting things to do in the Vaults of the post-nuclear Wasteland.
