More Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel vault hunting action on the way!

Another batch of add-on content is making its way to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on December 16 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Steam.

Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack: The Holodome Onslaught will cost $9.99, but if you bought the Season Pass, it's included.

This add-on pack brings new narrative content and features Vault Hunters Gaige and Axton. While they were away on a mission, they missed the events of The Pre-Sequel and ask Athena to recount the story — only the juicy, violent stuff.

So, while Athena tells the story, you play through The Holodome Onslaught, fighting The Pre-Sequel's most memorable enemies and several new ones as you fight wave after wave of foes. There's also new weapons, class mods, new heads and skins. Additionally, the level cap is raised to 60, giving 10 new levels and skill points to earn.

As if that wasn't enough, there's a free patch next week that adds a third playthrough — Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, which is more difficult. In it, you can reset campaign progress at any time, and scale enemies up to your current level.
