BioWare has revealed more details and some concept art from Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, which the company announced in September.
At the BioWare panel at the Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo this weekend, producer Cameron Lee live-tweeted new info about the game from its team members.
Cinematic designer John Perry said "he's had a longer preproduction on Dragon Age 3 than any other BioWare project he's worked on" and that "one level in Dragon Age 3 is as big as all of Dragon Age 2's levels," most likely thanks to a new game engine built from Frostbite 2, which powered Battlefield 3.
Creative director Mike Laidlaw said that gamers will play as human characters and that "customization is going to be bigger than Dragon Age: Origins."
BioWare also showed off concept art to panel attendees that is now available on its blog. The game could be planned for next-gen consoles — so far, BioWare hasn't named any platforms.
Dragon Age 3 is expected to release in late 2013.
