More Mortal Kombat X announcements coming Friday

NetherRealm Studios creative director and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon is back to his teasing ways, posting today an image on Twitter indicating at least one more Mortal Kombat X announcement will be coming this week.

It's important to note that I'm assuming it's Mortal Komba X, and not 100% certain because Boon only tweeted an image that said "Friday" along with a simple "?" in the actual Tweet.

At this point, what else could it be about. As Mortal Kombat X's April 14th release date rapidly approaches, NetherRealm has been ramping up their announcements, revealing new characters and gameplay features almost daily. While some character reveals have been intentional, we've learned of other playable characters through leaks and missteps by NetherRealm.

In fact, it's quite possible that Friday's announcement may have something to do with Liu Kang who has yet to be officially announced, but was discovered as a playable character through NetherRealm's description of the Kombat Pack, which includes an alternate skin for Liu Kang.
