More than 54 million hours of video watched by MLG viewers in 2013

Major League Gaming announced that MLG viewers watched more than 54 million hours of video in 2013. That's MLG video… not porn. The 54 million viewers is a 262 percent increase from 2012 and an even more staggering 1,557 percent increase since 1010.

MLG viewers watched an average of 150 minutes each druing Pro Circuit Championship events.

"MLG"s 1557% growth in live video consumption over the last four years is tremendous and we expect that demand to continue as we expand our programming via our new MLG.TV premium video platform in 2014," said Sundance DiGiovanni, CEO of Major League Gaming. "With greater viewership than traditional sports broadcasts online and the recent launch of MLG.TV, MLG is the powerhouse property for advertisers to reach the illusive young male demo."

…I never understand why the young male demographic — which is the demographic online more than any other — is that hard to reach. Anywho… congrats to MLG on their success.
