More Soul Calibur Coming

Daishi Odashima, game director at Namco, has made a rather simple announcement via Twitter:

“SC IS BACK!”

While not the most meaty announcement of a game, it’s certainly exciting news for Soul Calibur fans, who’ve probably felt a bit lost in the recent glut of Tekken-related announcements. Though I have to wonder what form this new game will come in.

Odashima got his start working on Soul Calibur III, and then took on director duties for both Soul Calibur IV and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, so is this Soul Calibur V, or perhaps a new portable entry in the series?
