Following speculation that Murdered: Soul Suspect developer Airtight Games had closed — based on a sign outside its office promotion a blowout sale of equipment — the studio has taken to Twitter to say its goodbyes.
In two brief Tweets, Airtight Games thanks its fans, family, friends, and colleagues for support.
Thanks to all of the fans, family, friends and colleagues who supported us and made the last 10 years possible.

In another tweet, Airtight thanked all involved in the creation of the studio's past games, which includes Dark Void, Quantum Conundrum, Murdered: Soul Suspect and Soul Fjord, among other titles.
Thanks to all of the amazing people that worked on Dark Void, Quantum Conundrum, Murdered, Soul Fjord, Pixld and DerpBike.

The sudden closure came as a bit of a surprise, but signs of trouble first appeared earlier this year when 14 members of the Airtight Staff were layed off. At the time, the developer called it "part of a necessary restructuring," but apparently there were some deeper problems.
