Murdered: Soul Suspect, the game where players solve their own murder, will launch sometime after March 2014, according to Square Enix.
The company excluded the game from its recent earnings report, but that list only names titles that are coming out in the first few months of next year.
Airtight Games, the developer that made puzzle-platformer Quantum Conundrum, is working on Soul Suspect. Players assume the role of detective Ronan OConnor, who ends up in a limbo world called Dusk after he's brutally murdered. He makes his way to Salem, Massachusetts, where he employs his new supernatural powers — such as reading the minds and influencing the thoughts of the living — to find justice.
Soul Suspect is due for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Sony and Microsoft's next-generation consoles are anticipated for the end of the year, which makes this a late release.
