The helmet is stylized after our favorite John, 117, and not only DOT approved for actual use as protective gear. The limited edition piece also features an ABS shell with matte UV-protective coat, double D-ring nylon chin straps, washable center pad and comes in four sizes (S,M,L,XL) as well as looking pretty snazzy.
Since this is a legitimate motorcycle helmet it also comes with a legitimate motorcycle gear price of $529.99 but after 8 years of seeing people repurpose the Halo 3 collector’s edition helmet for various and sundry uses, it’ll be pretty cool to see people zipping around town in these.
The helmet releases on October 28th.
