Need for Speed: Most Wanted sporting open world, launching October 30

EA has announced the next entry in its popular Need for Speed racing series. Titled Need for Speed: Most Wanted, the game is set to launch on October 30.

According to EA, players will race across a vast open world environment. However, practically everything you do will increase your Most Wanted level, and you will be notified of everything you're doing that's pissing the cops off.

The game looked great from a graphical standpoint during EA's press event, and there seemed to be a small amount of HUD elements, which will likely make the whole thing look pretty slick. The action was pretty fast-paced, with cops never letting up. This should make for a high-speed, action-packed racing experience.

Also, Criterion Games is all over this bitch! Hell yeah!
