take a look at the latest game updates!
Louisville, CO – June 25th, 2003 – Following
on the successful release of Episode 2: Attack of the Conflux, the expansion to
the massively multiplayer space combat and trading simulation Jumpgate,
developer NetDevil Ltd., today announced the details of their re-evaluation
program, allowing for former subscribers to experience for themselves the many
additions and changes that have taken place in the Jumpgate universe.
The offer extends to all former account
holders, and provides for a no-risk 10 day free trial of the game from
Wednesday, June 24th through Friday, July 4th. All inactive accounts will be
reactivated for those 10 days, and a credit card is not required to take part in
the re-evaluation. Access to the game is available immediately.
"With the addition of long-awaited features
such as player owned stations, heavy fighters, the piracy registry and new
M.O.D.X., we felt that now would be the ideal time for players to come take a
second look at how the game has matured and evolved," said Scott Brown,
President of NetDevil Ltd.
About Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative
Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative
launched in September 2001 as the first massively multiplayer space combat and
trading simulation. Jumpgate combines elements of combat, trading, mining,
politics, and mission completion as the backdrop for a futuristic 3D universe.
It remains unique among massively multiplayer space games for its commitment to
true space simulation and joystick-based combat. The Episode 2 expansion,
released in April 2003, added additional features for players looking for more
than just point-and-click gameplay, including pilot-owned space stations, sector
control systems, and pirating and counter-pirating equipment. New players
interested in experiencing the excitement and conflict of the Jumpgate universe
