New Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer shows life under the Black Flag

Ubisoft has released another new trailer for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, this time giving us a closer look at life as a pirate. While the trailer released earlier this week addressed what the Golden Age of Piracy really meant, today's video features lead character Edward Kenway discussing what it means to truly sail under the Black Flag.

It seems Kenway has some serious issues with authority. And by authority, I mean Kings and empires. As you'll see in the video, Kenway and his crew are on a mission to "take back" what is "rightfully" theirs. What this means exactly is still a bit unclear; we do know that somewhere along the way Kenway has fallen from privateering for the Royal Navy into a life of piracy. Now, united under the Black Flag, Kenway and his crew are standing up to the powerful.

"Captains will curse our flag and Kings will fear it."

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag will be released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and other next gen consoles on October 29, 2013.
