Teasers for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones have been filled with ominous themes of death and dispair. It's as if the showrunners enjoy rubbing it in our face that that character might have died. The latest set of images teased the fates of characters we love, like Arya, Daenerys, Tyrion and more — but the most recent teaser for the HBO series has taken a more cryptic turn.
Set entirely in the Hall of Faces, below the House of Black and White in Braavos (where Arya went to train to become a 'Faceless Man), the teaser shows us the dead faces of Ned Stark, Robb Stark, Catelyn Stark, Stannis Baratheon, Ygritte, Jon Snow (I still don't believe he's dead) and Joffrey "Baratheon" (riiiiight).
Those are not what is is interesting about this trailer, what's interesting is the final six faces shown. In the top row, from left to right, you'll see Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen. In the next row, from left to right, you'll find Cersei Lannister, Arya Stark and Jaime Lannister
So… Who is dead? Who will die?
All men must die, right? Season 6 is set to debut this April.
