New images of Marvel’s Jessica Jones released

The loss of Don’t Trust the B was a dark time in the lives of Americans. Unsure how to carry on without a weekly dose of debauchery, sarcasm and James Van Der Beek society slouched onwards, experimenting with prestige shows, something called sports and, finally, a hot and fast love affair with Daredevil.

However, that encounter with Daredevil is exactly why we’re getting a Jessica Jones show, starring Krysten Ritter. Coming to Netflix in November, the creators recently offered up a tone teaser for the new series and have now offered cast and image stills as well as an official synopsis.

“After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City.”

The character releases also give a glimpse of both Luke Cage and Kilgrave, played by Mike Colter and David Tennant respectively.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones premieres on November 20th.
