New ‘Leading Ladies’ Humble Bundle supports women in video games

With all the hate being flung around the internet these days, particularly towards women in the video game industry, it's nice to see the Humble Bundle take aim at actually supporting the future of women in this industry.

The "Leading Ladies" Humble Weekly Bundle features a total of seven games featuring female protagonists. For the next week, you can pay what you want Geeta Games' Lily Looking Through, Twisted Pixel Games' Ms. Splosion Man, Remigiusz Michalski's The Cat Lady, and Level Up Labs' Defender’s Quest: Valley of the Forgotten. If you pay $6 or more you can also unlock Hanako Games' Long Live the Queen and Emily Carroll & Damian Sommer's The Yawhg. Pay $10 or more, and you can get Endlessfluff Games' Valdis Story: Abyssal City. Purchased on their own, these games would run you $79, but the Humble Bundle lets you name your price.

As per usual, you can decide how to split your money by giving it to the developers, as a Humble Tip, or donating to the Girls Make Games, a series of international summer camps, workshops and game jams designed to encourage girls to "explore" the world of video games.
