New Lego Dimensions trailer shows off Scooby Doo gameplay

The information for Lego Dimensions keeps on coming with its upcoming releasing next month. Today we see a new trailer showcasing some gameplay in the Scooby-Doo world.

In Lego Dimensions, the Scooby-Doo team pack will be available at launch and include both a Shaggy and Scooby-Doo character along with a mystery machine vehicle and scooby snack. In addition, both the scooby snack and mystery machine will also be able to use three different build varieties. If you choose to skip the Scooby team pack at launch, you will still be able to experience them as there will be a level included in the game's starter pack which you will be able to play as Gandalf, Wildstyle and Batman. Remember, you will need either Shaggy or Scooby in order to unlock the Scooby-Doo adventure world and its corresponding mini games.

Once each adventure world is unlocked, you may use any character inside to take part in adventures and collect Lego blocks. We will be able to use seven different characters/vehicle combinations at once on the toy base in order to bring them into the game. Each vehicle will have three different combinations that will be necessary to use in order to unlock certain puzzles. For example, the batmobile may need to be changed to the bat blaster in order to explode a barricade. Although this may sound a little bit of a hassle, it's not as bad as it seems. Once you rearrange the blocks into another version of the vehicle it automatically saves to the toy base allowing you to switch back and forth to your unlocked versions straight from the menu. For anyone who has kids, you can imagine the frustration of now being able to complete a build due to one missing Lego block.

Lego Dimensions will feature 14 different adventure worlds, one for each brand in the game, and will be releasing September 27th on all Xbox and PlayStation platforms, Wii U, 3DS and PC
