New Mega evolution revealed for Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire

The newest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro has revealed a new Mega Pokémon to be included in 3DS remakes Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire.

The Pokémon in question is Mega Metagross, obviously the Mega version of Metagross, who is commanded by Elite Four Champion Daigo. Mega Metagross is attained via Mega Brooch, the would-be evolution stones of Omega and Alpha.

As Kotaku reports, a new type of evolution, Primal Reversion, has already been confirmed for the remade duo. Primal Reversion refers to harnessing natural energy, and results in Primal versions of existing Pokémon. This was revealed with Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, seen in the cover art of their respective games.

Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire was announced earlier this May, and will release for Nintendo 3DS this October.
