Sony has released a new system update that enhances overall performance for the PlayStation Vita.
Software update 2.11 went live in Europe and North America today. It "improves system stability and the playback of some titles," according to an online support coordinator on the European PlayStation forums.
The download has apparently caused problems for one user who tried to run Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified, an exclusive title for the Vita. However, no other users have responded with similar complaints.
Update 2.11 follows last week's, which added folder creation to the home screen, easy game card detection, the ability to watch videos in the web browser, HTML-supported email messages, and more.
