During its E3 press conference today, Electronic Arts revealed Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, a new mobile CCG (collectible card game) role-playing game.
"When we set out to make Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, we wanted to tap into the fantasy of collecting characters and starfighters and then let people enjoy the fun of playing with them creatively. We’re bringing this idea to life by allowing players to take part in battles with collections of their favorite heroes, characters, and ships from across the Star Wars universe," EA said of the new game.
Looking to deliver a truly extensive Star Wars experience, Galaxy of Heroes will feature content from the classic trilogy, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated TV shows, prequel films, and "beyond" (so, The Force Awakens?).
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will be available later this year on the App Store and Google Play.
