Bandai Namco is churning out yet another Tales game. This time it's Tales of Berseria, and it's coming to the West in 2017 according to the official Tales Twitter account.

Also revealed in the tweet were a brand new set of character screenshots and details about a new battle mechanic being introduced in this latest game.
Tales of Berseria will incorporate something called the Switch Blast into its battle system. The official Tales blog describes it as "a character switch system that enhances the degree of freedom in battles and expands strategic gameplay."
Basically what it means is that players will have a backup character in case they are afflicted and lose a Soul, which inhibits the number of Artes a character can perform.
Switch Blast is designed to overcome this disadvantage in one fell swoop.
Tales of Berseria will release on PS4 and PC sometime next year, so stay tuned for more details.
