New Twisted Metal Details Revealed

Twisted Metal's David Jaffe reveals new details on the game in response to a picture of the Twisted Metal kiosk picture that's on fire through the internet.

In the picture, one kiosk is pictured with original PS3 controllers and the other kiosk has PlayStation Move controllers giving people reason to think Twisted Metal will have Move capibiilities. However, Jaffe has now responded to the picture stating there will be no PlayStation Move or 3D capiblities to Twisted Metal. He goes on to say 3D was something he wanted to do, but there was not enough time or people on staff to get the job done.

Other than the picture controversy, Jaffe talked about the modes available and commented on future DLC. There are tons of online co-op modes, but there won't be any story co-op at all. There is a single player story mode, but for the most part, this is mostly a multiplayer game. In regards to DLC, there are no plans for DLC for Twisted Metal. However, Jaffe mentioned if Twisted Metal sold extremely well, then the team would start developing new content for the game.

Jaffe also confirmed that this will be his last combat racing game in a long time. Twisted Metal is due out for the PS3 on February 14 of this year. [MP1st]
