New Warhammer Tactical RPG, Necromunda: Underhive Wars has been announced

After collaborating on the recently released Mordheim: City of the Damned, Focus Home Interactive, Rogue Factor, and Games Workshop are coming together to make another Warhammer game. This time, the trio is tackling the cult classic tabletop game, Necromunda with an all new turn-based Tactical RPG, Necromunda: Underhive Wars set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Here's the official description of the world via press release:

"Rival gangs of ruthless warriors are locked in an endless war for control of the Underhive, a gigantic warren of derelict factories, rusted metal husks, and forgotten technologies. Anarchy, violence, betrayal and death rule this hellish place, long forsaken by any semblance of civilization."

Rogue Factor's General Manager, Yves Bordeleau said:

Our adventure began by building the foundations of Mordheim: City of the Damned Early Access. After a strong launch on PC and consoles, and an incredible experience with many lessons learned, the way was paved for our next step in conquering the tactical RPG genre: Necromunda: Underhive Wars."

There's currently no word on when the game will be ready for release or if the developers plan to put the game into Early Access. But given the fact that Rogue Factor's previous work, Mordheim: City of the Damned went the Early Access route, there's a pretty good chance that they will do the same.
