Remember when the Wii used to come bundled with New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack, and a Wii Remote Plus? That bundle was pretty decent, and aside from the fact that the newer Wii model doesn't offer GameCube support, the $149.99 price tag was certainly appealing.
Nintendo has released a new Wii bundle, and to be quite honest, it's not very great. As a matter of fact, it's kind of dumb. For $129.99 you'll get a Wii console along with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Meh.
I suppose if you're in the market for a Wii and don't play too many video games anyway you could do worse. Then again, even people who don't play video games all that often love Mario, which is why it's a bit weird that New Super Mario Bros. Wii was replaced in this new bundle.
