New Xbox One bundle includes free year of EA Access

Includes access to 10 EA games right away

Taking advantage of a partnership with Electronic Arts, Microsoft has unveiled a new Xbox One Starter Bundle that includes a year-long subscription to EA Access.

Whereas most Xbox bundles include a game or two for free, the subscription to EA Access actually provides you with 10 games right off the bat: Battlefield 4, Need for Speed Rivals, Peggle 2, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, EA Sports UFC,NBA Live 15Madden NFL 15, and now NHL 15. On top of that, you're also getting Forza Horizon 2, as well as 3-months of Xbox LIVE Gold, for free.

For those unfamiliar with how EA Access works, it's a subscription-based program that provides you with unlimited access to EA's Vault, as well as discounts on digital purchases and the ability to play new releases days ahead of their actual launch.

Typically, EA Access costs $5/month or $30/year, but, again, it's free with this bundle. It's important to note, however, that if you let your subscription run out, you'll lose access to these 10 games (and however many others are added to the library).

Unfortunately, the Xbox One Starter Bundle with EA Access is only being offered in the UK, with no mention of whether or not it'll be sold in the U.S. It's priced at £314.99 incl. VAT.
