New Xbox One features planned through October

Microsoft's support of the Xbox One post-launch has been incredible. Since the system's launch in November, Microsoft has consistently rolled out new features on a monthly basis, and it doesn't look like they'll be stopping any time soon.

Responding to questions on Twitter, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer said that Xbox One monthly updates will continue to roll out, with the team having a feature list through October so far. "We've worked through the feature list through October," he wrote. "[Monthly updates] will continue and features look good."

Many of the Xbox One's new features enabled since launch have been a result of fan requests. In fact, Spencer even said that one of August's features — 3D Blu-ray support — was one where there were "lots of requests." He also told fans to "stay tuned" for news about digital pre-ordering and pre-loading, adding that it won't be long.
