It's been quite a while since Nintendo fans have been able to enjoy a game with Yoshi as the main character. In fact, the last time player's were treated to a game featuring Mario's loveable dinosaur as the main character was in 1998 with Yoshi's Story for Nintendo 64. Thankfully, that drought will end soon.
Nintendo today announced a new game focused solely on Yoshi. Appropriately titled Yarn Yoshi, the game is set in a "fanciful world of yarn and textiles."
It's currently being developed by the team that created Kirby's Epic Yarn. Development is being supervised by Takashi Tezuka, director of Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story.
