Next Destiny balancing update coming ‘very soon’

***Update***

Bungie announced today an update will go live tomorrow that will improve the technology that enables players to connect to Destiny. This will not be the balancing update that was originally talked about last week, though that one is still coming soon. Read more about tomorrow's update here.

***Original***

Bungie is readying to release a new update for Destiny which the developer says is coming “very soon.”

Detailed over on the company blog, the next update will bring with it a batch of “enhancements, refinements, fixes, and tweaks.”

“We’ll never clap the dust off our hands, push away from the digital workbench, and procalim that our game is perfect,” Bungie added. “We’re not capable of seeing anything in that light. In many ways, we’re as jaded as the next gamer. That’s why we created a world in which we could react to feedback and new ideas.”

Destiny’s last update, 1.0.2., went live last week, bringing with it necessary changes to the game’s broken loot system. Among the changes, were tweaks to the Cryptarch in which Legendary (purple) engrams will now always produce a Legendary quality item or higher. Rare and Legendary Engram drops were also added as potential rewards for Vanguard, Daily and Weekly Heroic missions. Check out the full patch notes here.
